Position overview:

As Plant Controller you are responsible for managing the finance function and ensuring fast and accurate handling of all objectives related to the area of responsibility in a complex environment with stakeholders at all levels.

Key responsibilities include: 

•    Functioning as a key sparring partner to the Plant Manager and the remaining team members

•    Leading the month end closing process and preparing monthly financial reports for European HQ

•    Monitoring of key manufacturing variables such as production output/efficiency, spoilage and quality

•    Driving continuous improvement in the financial processes and contributing to improvement of other key business processes

•    Various monthly plant performance reports and analyses

•    Monitoring the company's profitability and financial position

•    Leading preparation and evaluation of Capex projects

•    Leading and developing a team of 4 employees in Finance and the local Procurement- and Stores team

•    Responsible for local Procurement and Stores activities; annual report, tax calculations and TP documentation

•    Producing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts

•    Internal controls and ensuring compliance with local and corporate policies and guidelines

•    Direct contact to various external stakeholders such as suppliers, lawyer and auditors

•    Managing processes for outsourced functions GBS (Global Business Services) currently located in Serbia and Mexico

Experience and skills required:

•    Relevant finance degree as well as several years of experience from a similar position in a medium-sized or large company with own production

•    Comprehensive professional skills and knowledge within finance and accounting as well as hands-on experience with internal controlling and reporting

•    Solid experience with Swedish GAAP and tax legislation, preferably familiar with US GAAP

•    Strong skills in planning including budgeting, financial planning and analysis

•    A proven track record of driving performance improvements via strong business understanding and clear KPI focus

•    Strong IT-skills with significant experience from daily use of Excel and preferably SAP

•    Experience with BW and BI systems

•    Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
