Position overview:

As the Sr Administrative Assistant, you are a key member of the Plant Team, reporting to the HR&Admin Manager. You support smooth daily operations by coordinating administrative tasks across Human Resources, Payroll, Safety, Finance, Production, and Engineering. Your work keeps records accurate, communication clear, and plant activities well organized, contributing to an efficient, safe, and positive workplace.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records for HR, payroll, safety, finance, and production.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence with strong attention to detail.
  • Manage calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination for plant leaders and teams.
  • Support payroll, HR, finance, and safety processes through timely data entry and documentation.
  • Coordinate plant events, employee celebrations, volunteer activities, and training sessions.
  • Maintain plant communication boards, newsletters, and required postings.
  • Assist with safety program documentation and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
  • Provide professional communication and customer-focused support to employees, leaders, and external partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and support continuous improvement.
  • Help resolve administrative or payroll-related issues and escalate employee questions when needed.

 

What are we looking for? 

  • At least two years of administrative experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with HR, payroll, safety, or enterprise systems such as HRIS, payroll platforms, safety tracking tools, or ERP systems.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and reliable recordkeeping.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
