Position overview:

 

This role is to support the Senior Manager Regional Commercial (UK) and the broader UK team team to lead Business Development alongside the commercial management team, maximising all opportunities to drive profitable growth and ensuring regional efficiencies across all our internal and external KPI’s - through concise reporting, forecasting, category led insights and management of commercial contracts and administration. Role provides a great breadth, insight and foundation to a career in Commercial. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Support our accounts for the company and P&L delivery alongside the UK Commercial team 

  • Managing the forecast process and forecast accuracy 

  • Ensuring all contract admin is correct and advising on further development and opportunities to improve => contract universe & Vendavo pricing processes 

  • Work closely with UK Comercial team to devise and deliver new business strategy 

  • Manage key new business customers and recruit new customers with potential and grow and nurture these customers 

  • Ensuring internal company functions work to deliver highest customer service. 

  • Holding regular monthly meetings with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Investigating and resolving queries and issues raised by internal teams 

  • Taking a proactive approach to customer management and be in proficient in UK market trends. 

  • Implementing an effective way of working and setting out best practice measures 

 

What are we looking for? 

 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial of Business Discipline or relevant experience in a similar role in a international company

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally 

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills 
    • Account management

    • Knowledge of sustainability practices and trends

    • Understanding of food & beverage retail principles as well as consumer behavior

    • UK market and trends
