Position overview:
Customer Fulfilment Manager will lead the UK Customer Fulfilment team in managing the production scheduling, inventory mix and supply of product to UK customers and manage required support movements to and from other regions. The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and a high level of customer satisfaction while ensuring an optimised total cost to serve.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the UK Customer Fulfilment processes are executed in an efficient and effective manner in line with agreed working practices
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the day to day fulfilment operation
- Creation and management of the UK by customer inventory plan based on the monthly high level plan published by Central Planning, feeding back issues and any potential solutions seen at a customer level to Central Planning for resolution while ensuring an optimised total cost to serve
- Communication of updated supply plans to customers to ensure alignment and management of each supply position
- Production and monitoring of Customer Fulfilment KPIs within the UK relating to customer satisfaction, order execution and stock management
- Coordinate UK fulfilment planning with Key Account Directors, Northern Region Sales Director and UK Sales Managers
- Managing escalation of key customer issues and communicate it accordingly to necessary stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Regional Logistics Manager and Central Logistics to develop and optimise the UK warehousing plan by customer
- Provide leadership and development to direct reports through structured performance management and personal development planning
- Collaborate with the UK 3PL to ensure UK JIT processes are in place, fit for purpose and being adhered to
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor-level qualification in a relevant discipline
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Understanding of IBP or Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Previous experience in a sales, planning or customer orientated team
- Previous experience in a high volume fast pace customer service environment
- Good working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership and project management skills
