Position Overview:
Provide comprehensive technical and quality service by supporting our customers. Additionally, support Ball Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing for a successful business and relationship. You will coordinate, support, and be present on-site throughout the manufacturing of products, from production to filling, whether for trials or standard products. This includes the evaluation of processes from both a technical and quality perspective to improve and strengthen the business. Ensure a strong relationship between the customer and Ball.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Accompanying production and new product development: Provide support and advice during production, filling, and follow-up processes regarding technical and quality topics.
- Support and consult our business partners: Ensure excellent customer service, including complaint management and quality.
- Interface & coordination: Collaborate closely with internal departments and coordinate communication with our customers.
- Process improvement: Internally coordinate improvement measures based on customer feedback.
- Project support: Provide technical support and assistance in the implementation of projects. Contact customers regarding quality issues and visit them when required.
- Identify possible best practices impacting quality, service, and economic performance.
What Are We Looking For?
- Technical background and at least two years of professional experience (in the food sector, filling processes, packaging production, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills: You are able to find the right words in complex situations and are a patient listener.
- Willingness to travel: You are willing to dedicate up to 60% of your working time to national and international business trips.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and other PC skills.
- Languages: Fluent in German and English (B2 level or higher).
- Quick thinking with a good understanding of complex relationships.
- Ideally, experience in quality management, such as Lean or Six Sigma Engineering, or another technical degree.
- Beneficial: Prior experience in Quality, Technical Project Management, or Technical Management, preferably in the packaging/filling/food industry.
