Position overview:

 

You act as an HR Business Partner and you'll be at the forefront of our Global People Ambition. You'll work hand-in-hand with stakeholders, Global HR Centers of Expertise (COEs), and Global Shared Services (GSS) to create and execute HR strategies that drive our business forward.

Your role will involve leading and nurturing the HR team, focusing on constant improvement and development, ensuring that we deliver HR services efficiently and effectively. Together, you execute both enterprise and regional HR priorities and strategies in our assigned region.

 

This position can be based anywhere in France, Spain, Italy, or Poland.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

 

  • Collaborates with local and region business leaders and functions to anticipate future needs and challenges and influences appropriate proactive HR strategy, solutions, policies and processes through effective communication to HR Directors and HR VPs.
  • Developing and executing data-driven HR solutions in alignment with Global Business Services (GBS).
  • Provides direction and leadership to local HR, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high-quality HR services that meet the needs of the organization and its team members.
  • Provides direct guidance and support to local (i.e. Plant Managers) and region business leaders (i.e. Regional Operations Directors and Operations Functional Directors), through coaching and consultation on a range of HR and business matters.  Supports the creation of effective and high performing management teams.
  • Directly leads the development of the HR team, ensuring necessary skills, competencies and capabilities to function as business partner.  Provides guidance and support to plant/site HR team.
  • As business partner, creates a strong culture of collaboration by working closely with business leaders in the plant/site and region to clearly understand their objectives and challenges, enabling HR to play an active role in business decisions.  Builds engaged relationships through trust, support and effective communication.
  • Collaborates with Global Talent partners to develop and execute effective talent development solutions and initiatives within the assigned region, building and maintaining a consistent pipeline of talent and bench strength.
  • Is a champion for diversity and inclusion and promotes a healthy work environment through actions and behaviors.
  • Advocates for HR strategies and communicates them effectively within the organization. Leads and actively participates in enterprise and regional projects and ensures accountability to and timely execution of strategies, policies/procedures and initiatives. 
  • Identifies opportunities to standardize and improve HR operations to better align with business needs.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Experience working in a strategic HR role within an international manufacturing company
  • Existing knowledge of French, Spanish and/or Italian labour laws and experience leading HR team(s) in the region 
  • Strong communication and proven collaboration skills across all organisational levels, with customer service mindset
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the employee life cycle
  • Professionally qualified (a degree in Human Resources or CIPD level 5)
  • Analytical skills and ability to drive outcomes
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
