Position overview:

We are looking for a Functional Analyst to support and enhance manufacturing technology solutions within a fast-paced production environment. This role focuses on implementing, configuring, and supporting complex manufacturing systems that align with operational needs and business objectives across multiple plants.

The position will primarily support Viscan process monitoring and automation systems, playing a key role in troubleshooting production-related issues, supporting manufacturing operations, and contributing to new production line implementations and improvement projects. The successful candidate will work closely with plant teams, engineering, and external vendors to ensure reliable system performance, continuous improvement, and alignment with enterprise technology standards and best practices.

 

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze business requirements and support the design and implementation of technology solutions for complex operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather functional requirements and support solution delivery.
  • Configure, develop, test, monitor, and support application systems and enhancements to ensure high-quality technical solutions.
  • Support 24/7 manufacturing operations, including out-of-hours support on a rotational basis when required.
  • Maintain and develop in-depth knowledge of manufacturing systems, applications, and operational processes.
  • Support user acceptance testing, system configuration, and implementation of new business systems and modules.
  • Work closely with third-party vendors, software providers, and implementation partners to support project delivery and system performance.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, policies, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology optimization using industry best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.

 

 

What are we looking for? 

  • Strong electrical or electrical engineering background with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • 2–5 years of experience working with PLCs, sensors, automation, or manufacturing systems support.
  • Basic IT knowledge including scripting, queries, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working within manufacturing or production environments with an understanding of operational processes.
  • Flexible, hands-on mindset with the ability to adapt to fast-paced manufacturing operations.
  • Strong communication skills and fluent English.
  • Additional experience with broader manufacturing systems, automation software, or IT systems is considered an advantage.
