Position Overview
As an EHS Specialist, you will support daily environmental and health & safety activities at the plant. The role focuses on coordinating tasks, maintaining documentation, and supporting compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Health & Safety Manager in daily environmental and H&S activities
- Conducting environmental and H&S training sessions
- Participating in inspections, audits, and compliance checks, including inspections conducted by regulatory authorities
- Supporting incident investigations and related documentation
- Preparing and maintaining H&S and environmental procedures
- Coordinating environmental and H&S measurements, inspections, and reports
- Supporting Integrated Management System activities
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives driven by corporate requirements
- Participating in plant expansion projects
Requirements
- Higher education meeting Polish legal requirements for an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist
- Minimum 3 years of experience in H&S or environmental roles within a production environment
- Basic knowledge of environmental regulations
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage tasks and follow procedures
- Willingness to learn and develop
- English at a communicative level (minimum required)
Work Environment: This position, based in Poland, requires on-site presence at our facility in Lublin, with the possibility of occasional remote work up to the statutory limit of 24 days per year.
Salary Range: 93,750 - 131,000 PLN gross annually (based on a 12-month pay cycle). The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as internal pay equity and market standards. Depending on these factors, the actual offer may be higher or lower than the stated range.
Bonus Plan: This position is eligible for participation in Ball’s annual bonus program.
