Position overview:

As the Warehouse Manager, you’re a key member of the Kettering Team. You will contribute to the success of Ball by managing the day to day running of the plant warehouse, taking into account available external warehouse space, while ensuring all transport requirements are arranged in a timely manner.


Your key responsibilities include:

  • Warehouse layout, optimisation and hygiene
  • FIFO Compliance and ensure clear stock instructions are adhered.
  • Arrange export and UK transport
  • Update Transwide  system.
  • Monitor vehicle/trailer standards and act on any non-conformances
  • Managing the team of Forklift Drivers.
  • Manage different kinds of audits.
  • Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and the company.


Experience and skills required:

  • GCSE qualifications
  • 5 years of operational management experience in a fast-moving warehouse environment
  • SAP, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good prioritization skills and communication skills.
  • Flexible and a team player.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
