Position overview:

 

As the Plant Technical Trainer, you’re a key member of the Kettering Team, reporting to the Training Manager. You will contribute to the success of Ball by to developing, delivering and assessing Technical Training for the manufacturing operations personnel.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

 

  • Assessment and documentation of employees in procedural competencies
  • Develop technical training programs according to organizational requirements
  • Arrange and conduct on-site technical training.
  • Validate and sign off technical capability through process observation of trainees using Plant JBS (Job Breakdown Sheets).
  • Writing and maintaining the job specification catalogue and updating.
  • Working with and supporting the Technical Training Manager closely in building a collaborative, professional and strong team dynamic with the aim of developing a high quality technical training department that supports and delivers for the Plant training requirements.

Experience and skills required:

 

  • High School Diploma or education equivalent required.
  • Proven Job-related experience for 4 years minimum in a high-speed manufacturing environment and technical training.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills across all organisational levels
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
