Primary Purpose of Position:

Supervises the plant quality function as directed.


What will you be responsible for?

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
  • Responsible for the supervision, development, mentoring & coaching of the Quality Inspectors.
  • Supports development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Quality System.
  • Supports development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Food Safety System.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and adequacy of Quality Assurance Work Instructions.
  • Participates in Root Cause & Corrective Action activities with Production & Support to address Audit Findings and Customer Complaints.
  • Participates in trend reviews of SPC data with Quality & Production staff.
  • Supervises or assists in the inspection or testing of raw materials and products to determine compliance with specifications.
  • Functions as an SPC expert in the training and support of personnel throughout the facility.
  • Responsible for inspection crews working 24/7 shifts, which may require off-hours support.

What are we looking for?

  • HS Diploma/Equivalency required
  • Job related experience for 1 year(s) minimum
  • Good written & verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product specifications and customer expectations
  • Generally accepted supervisory practices and procedures
  • Quality Systems, i.e. FSSC22000, ISO9000, SQF
  • SPC Principles and Implementation



Compensation & Benefits

  • Hiring Salary Range: $67,700 -101,500 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
  • Other Compensation:   This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
