Chemical Process Maintainer

Primary Purpose of the Position:

Performs tasks and provides services to support the plant's production goals, overall business plans and objectives as directed

What will your average week look like?

• Performs chemical checks and maintains proper pH and alkalinity levels of manufacturing processes.
• Monitors and adjusts wastewater systems and sludge removal for EPA compliance.
• Performs troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Follow job safety practices, policies, and procedures for safe performance of assignments.

• Must utilize appropriate PPE including safety glasses, safety footwear, hearing protection and follow all safety practices

• Work a 12 hour rotating shift, which is 4 on / 4 off. Shifts will rotate from days to nights every 4 weeks.

What are we looking for?

• High school Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a mechanical job related filed

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge Machine mechanics & Troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of environmental regulations.
• Basic knowledge of chemicals, oils, water treatment process techniques, and/or chemical related manufacturing operations.
• Water Treatment License
