Position overview:

The Junior Finance Assistant will provide accounting/finance support to our business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. This role will be responsible for invoicing, resolving vendor issues, and actively taking participation in creation of relevant reports, respecting the local GAAP requirements and existing company procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Validating and posting intercompany and third party invoices for the purchase of goods and services.
• Scanning and verifying incoming invoices into the system.
• Participating in month end closing activities.
• Preparing and entering accounts payable accruals into SAP.
• Weekly preparations of payment proposals.
• Preparaing of cash outflow forecasts.
• Participating in audit preparation and support in area of responsibility.
• Extracting information from SAP for the preparation of different reports.
• Researching short payments, overpayments, credits and aging payables.

What are we looking for?

• University level degree within Finance.
• Preferable working experience in finance or accounting area.
• Strong PC skills: MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Analytical skills with high attention to details.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
