Primary purpose:
Establish and enforce data management excellence standards to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance data analysis techniques, provide practical recommendations to improve Ball's business applications, ensuring data integrity, support decision-making and sustained success.
What will you be responsible for?
- Develop and implement standards of excellence in data management to ensure data integrity, security and confidentiality.
- Design data management solutions that are efficient, scalable and flexible.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns and valuable insights that can assist in strategic decision-making.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to understand Manufacturing data needs and ensure they are effectively addressed.
- Develop and implement data governance policies to ensure that data is collected, stored, processed and used with compliance guidelines.
- Support IT Team to develop data security strategies to protect Ball's confidential data.
- Evaluate and select appropriate data management tools and technologies to meet the specific needs of Ball.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor data quality and implementing data cleaning, standardization and data improvement processes.
- Provide training and support to ensure users understanding and effectively use data management tools.
- Continuously evaluate data management practices and propose improvement to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness Ball's data management processes.
What are we looking for?
- Experience doing data management activities and data analysis
- Experience doing BI Tools and Dashboard management
- Experience doing integration and leadership of multifunctional teams focused on data generation and analysis
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Data Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
- Advanced proficiency in BI Tools and dashboard construction (Power BI / Qlik Sense / Tableau)
- Advanced proficiency in ERP Tools (SAP - PP / MM / PM)
- Intermediate / advanced proficiency in databases (relational) and data processing (ETL)
- Intermediate / advanced proficiency in Programming languages (SQL / VBA)
- Intermediate proficiency in statistics applied to data management and continuous improvement tools, structured problem-solving and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of:
- Cloud Data Management (Snowflake / Azure)
- Industrial Data Managment (Sensing / PLC / Data Concentrator / Scada / MES)
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA) / AI / Machine Learning / Data Model
- Process Mapping / BPMN
- Required: English (advanced/fluent)
- Preferred: Spanish (Basic / Intermediate)
