Logistics Supervisor

Primary purpose of the position:
Assure to create a safely working environment providing the support needed to the warehouse team to perform the activities in the warehouse and production plant and setting in place procedures and processes to keep the inventories updated and accurate, assuring to ship all the products to our customers on timely manner and accomplishing with the proper conditions,  shipping based on First in First Out scheme and collaborating with all the other Ball departments as needed to accomplish with all the requirements from internal and external audits and requirements defined from programs or certifications Ball have or is part of. 

Essential Responsible Areas:
Safety at warehouse, warehousing, Inventory control, loading and receiving at Ball plant Warehouse operations, Shipping operations, RCA´s for claims, incidents or accidents related to warehouse and shipping and receiving operations at Ball plant warehouse.

Region Specific Responsible Areas:

• Assure Safety Operation providing resources and analysis to minimize identified risks.  
• Work aligned to the metrics defined  and provide support and resources to achieve goals from warehouse team
• Provide cadence KPI´s and reports as needed.
• Perform RCA for customer claims related with  warehousing or shipping operations out from Ball plant warehouse.
• Perform RCA for safety incidents 
• Plan, conduct, supervise and validate cycle counts ate Ball plant warehouse.
• Define and coordinate yearly inventory count 
• Daily track on shipments to expedite resources if necessary
• Provide on timely feedback and support to the warehouse team and conduct performance revies as defined on timely manner. 
• Assure all the warehouse team get clear objectives and expectations.
• Escalate in proper and timely manner any issue that should be escalated.
• Provide supersession, training and support to the warehouse team providing the tolls and equipment needed to develop warehouse team  duties properly and on safely manner.
• To track the preventive maintenance be conducted on timely manner for the fork trucks, docks and curtains and raise and follow up any deviation to the preventive maintenance or corrective maintenance may be needed.
• Assure the accuracy and match of the inventories of all the products in the plant warehouse under warehouse supervisor scope and responsibility (coils, cans, ends, scrap, etc)
• Scrap shipments supervision
• To build and maintain a psychological safety, ordered, clean, and adequate  work environment 
• Supervise and assure the proper and on timely manner dunnage supply and other supplies or dry goods needed to operations assuring to provide continuity to the producing lines.
• To use the PPE and assure all the warehouse team and any person getting in to the warehouse use the PPE on a proper manner.
• To assure all the warehouse team work following all the safety rules and instructions on all the warehousing and loading processes, creating a safety culture leading with the example.
• To accomplish and lead warehouse team on accomplishing to the code of conduct and compliance, reporting any deviation and providing support needed as warehouse supervisor on any deviation to the compliance of the code of conduct detected or reported.
