Position overview:
The Plant Controller will be accountable for management reporting and financial forecasting for plant business manufacturing operations. This role forms part of the local senior management team and will contribute towards the development and implementation of local strategy, by providing strong financial business partnering to the Operations team and driving ongoing cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating within local senior management team, representing finance and providing functional strategic direction as necessary
- Leading the month end closing process and preparing monthly financial reports for European HQ
- Primary responsibility for reporting and control of all operational KPI
- Various monthly plant performance reports and analyses
- Monitoring the plants profitability and financial position
- Management of local capital budgets and reporting, including all local investment proposals
- Preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
- Managing processes for outsourced functions GBS (Global Business Services) currently located in Serbia and Mexico
What are we looking for?
- A relevant finance degree as well as several years of experience from a similar position in a medium-sized or large company with own production, preferably from a matrix organisation or a group-structured company
- Comprehensive professional skills and knowledge within finance and accounting as well as hands-on experience with internal controlling and reporting
- Strong skills in planning including budgeting, financial planning and analysis
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (especially advanced knowledge of Excel) and experience with BW and BI systems
- A proven track record of driving performance improvements via strong business understanding and clear KPI focus.
- Ability to work with cross-functional Finance teams in multiple countries and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Fluent in Danish and English
