Do you have a passion for electrical engineering and want to make your managerial imprint in a fast-paced production environment?

 

In a newly created position, we need an Manager for our electrical team with reference to the Engineering Manager. In the position, you will be responsible for ensuring that the electrical team  supports optimal and efficient operations all year round, including by performing preventive maintenance and performing Cl improvements, as well as repairs and troubleshooting.

The position involves the management of our local electricians and programmers on day as well as shifts. A total of 7 competent and experienced employees with a high level of professionalism as a focal point. On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved in operational tasks in collaboration with the team as well as administrative tasks that comes with leading the team.

 

Your tasks will include:

  • Monitoring performance KPls, improvement opportunities, and maintenance costs
  • Meeting ambitious production targets while meeting quality standards
  • Troubleshooting and constant further development of the factory TPM system
  • Continuous improvement of efficiency, costs and service standards, as well as participation in optimization projects and production expansions
  • Contribute to the planning and operation of maintenance and downtime or optimization initiatives;
  • Analyze and implement preventive maintenance programs on electrical equipment, make necessary changes, and train personnel on procedural improvements
  • Set-up and installation tasks in our high-tech and modern machinery
  • Follow-up and documentation/reporting of work performed with SFOL (maintenance system) and Viscan (MES System)
  • Management and development of the Electrical team

We expect you to

  • have a technical education within the electrical field and preferably have a management education as supplement
  • have experience in project management and use to work with budgets within financial requirements
  • seeks information and being proactive towards tasks and requirements
  • shows energy and not being afraid to throw yourself into different tasks
  • thrives on changes and quickly switch between tasks during a varied workday
  • be good at working in a structured and attentive manner
  • being stable, dutiful and likes to keep things in order
  • ideally have experience with PLC programming in Siemens Tia Portal & S7 (including HMI)
  • ideally have experience with VFD software, Danfoss and ABB
  • ideally have experience with technical documentation and electrical diagrams, preferably in Autocad.
  • communicate in written and spoken English.
