What will you be responsible for?

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
  • Supports development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Quality & Food Safety system.
  • Reviews SPC data & provides feedback to production & QA personnel.
  • Monitors the quality system’s effectiveness, by analyzing trends and deviations, and initiating recommendation for improvement.
  • Generates & analyzes capability studies, trend analysis, SPC charting techniques, significance testing
  • Advises production and quality assurance management of significant process deviations.
  • Determines the significance of process deviations, and, where necessary, initiates containment action on nonconforming product, and executes sampling plans to determine fitness for use.
  • Calibrates or coordinates the calibration of test equipment, and maintains calibration records.
  • Performs Process, Food Safety, and Safety Audits.
  • Responsible for the Document Control process, including editing, overseeing periodic reviews and the approval process.
  • Generates periodic Quality reports as necessary from ERP, SPC and Corrective Action software. 

What are we looking for?

  • High school graduation or equivalent education required.
  • Job related experience for year(s) minimum.
  • Working knowledge of the following areas:  Quality Systems, Document Control, Gage Calibration Records, Internal Auditing, SPC.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office proficiency is a must.  MiniTAB or JMP proficiency a bonus.
  • Effective verbal and written communicator.

 

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hiring Salary Range: $ 53,100 - 79,500 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
  • Job Grade:  Global Grade 8  
  • Other Compensation:   This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
