Our team of Support Pack Operatives are required to assist the Lead Packer in control the process of packing finished products to conform to customer requirements.

The main duties include

  • To sample product on a regular basis against product specification
  • To sort and assess reject product
  • To inform the Printer of any non conforming products identified.
  • To inform the Shift Manager and QC of any non conforming products identified
  • To wrap pallet of product after final inspection
  • To label pallets according to Works Order
  • To inform Shift Manager of any machine failures and defective materials
  • To hand over to the on-coming Support Pack and inform him/her of the state of the line
  • To assist on print changeovers
  • To assist Necker with quality checks
  • To assist with cleaning machines on Maintenance days
  • To minimise waste, remove rubbish and scrap product to the correct skips and maintain a clean and tidy work place.
  • To maintain accurate records according to Ball Aerosol Packaging requirements.
  • To adhere to ISO 9001 requirements.
  • To carry out any other work or duties, as the workload so requires

This role is working a rotating shift pattern which includes days, nights and weekends. The shift pattern is shown below. The hours are 6am - 6pm and 6pm-6am
