Position Overview:


In accordance with the Aerosol Packaging sales strategy, the Sales Representative drives price, value and volume across the assigned customer portfolio and develops new sales opportunities in order to grow sales revenues and contribute to margin and profitability increase.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Reach sales targets & identify volume growth opportunities
  • Manage and follow up customer volumes ensure fulfilment of budget for each customer
  • Manage volume/contract negotiation
  • Build multi-level relationships with corporate and local contacts via regular visits & meetings at all locations
  • Work closely with plant CS teams to ensure swift follow up on & payment for all overdue receivables and to monitor level of customer exposure (inventory, receivables, et cetera) and proactively request payment terms changes when needed
  • Manage the invoice platforms for major customers ensuring all in place to receive timely payment
  • Manage the customer intranet platforms ensuring all specifications and customer requirements are met
  • Identify new potential fillers/markets/trends in line with Ball Aerosol Packaging & Ball Corporation commercial goals
  • Provide relevant details to pricing team on all new volume opportunities, including pricing guide/info when possible & send quotes to customers
  • Ensure budgets and monthly forecast accuracy
  • Compile and deliver timely monthly report for commercial activities


Experience and skills required:


  • Degree in Sales or business related field is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • High motivation;
  • Able to work alone and as part of a team;
  • Computer literate / Suite Office
  •  Manufacturing background essential
  • Packaging sales or customer service experience in FMCG
  • At least 3 years in a customer facing role
  • Fluent English language knowledge
