<span 72="">The main purpose for our Production Team Leaders is to be on line support for production members in fault finding efficiency losses/waste or quality issues, providing advice and guiding to the right resolution whilst training team members with basic fault finding skills such as fishbone/5y.

<span 72="">Main tasks and responsibilities include
<span 72="">GENERAL
- <span 72="">To ensure environmental, health and safety working practices are followed at all times.
- <span 72="">To ensure that quality standards are met and remedial action taken where necessary.
- <span 72="">To support the shift manager and colleagues to achieve high motivation and productivity through consistent positive leadership.
<span 72="">PRODUCTION RESULTS
- <span 72="">To ensure efficiency (TRS) and spoilage (MOD) targets are met.
- <span 72="">To ensure efficient material usage in order to minimise costs, and support areas of high waste to reduce wasted product
- <span 72="">To support process improvement ideas within the manufacturing process and form teams to work in conjuction on improvement projects
- <span 72="">To mobilise and deploy production and other staff in the event of breakdowns, quality issues and other emergencies, including hands-on attendance to breakdowns where necessary.
- <span 72="">To ensure 5s clean as you go mindset and autonomous maintenance tasks are being followed by team members

<span 72="">MANAGEMENT OF TEAM
- <span 72="">To support the shift manager in identifying performance and development of production staff, including identifying training needs, coaching and promoting teamwork.
- <span 72="">To maintain all relevant tracking systems including employee holidays, cover, absence and skills matrix.
- <span 72="">To provide absence cover for the shift manager when required
<span 72="">CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT
- <span 72="">To develop, in conjunction with others, working methods and systems to continuously improve safety, product quality, efficiency and waste.
- <span 72="">To participate in and support the Management team and colleagues in Continuous Improvements projects.

<span 72="">This is a role working a rotating shift pattern as shown below. You will be working 4 weeks on days (6am - 6pm) followed by 4 weeks on nights (6pm - 6am)
