Primary purpose of this position: Act as the strategic HR partner at the site level, ensuring alignment between business objectives and people management by overseeing labor compliance, workforce planning, employee development, engagement, and cultural transformation while supporting leaders and organizational performance.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the headcount budgeting process (salaries, benefits, labor agreements, merit increases, and other HR-related expenses) by defining budgeting methodologies, monitoring budget execution, implementing defined assumptions, and identifying gaps between budgeted vs. actual figures, ensuring compliance with the company’s financial planning for the current and upcoming year.
  • Participate in union negotiations, representing the company in meetings and collective bargaining agreements in compliance with legal requirements and company strategy.
  • Monitor labor inspections (Labor Department, Social Security, Ministry of Labor, Public Prosecutor’s Office) and other audits conducted within the company, providing required documentation in compliance with current legislation.
    Coordinate and ensure planned internal communication and endomarketing activities, promoting engagement and motivation through actions that mobilize all involved professionals.
  • Identify training needs and plan/execute development initiatives aimed at employee growth, both behavioral and technical, while monitoring the effectiveness of training plans and actions.
  • Support the implementation of Engagement Survey action plans related to the assigned area by participating in analyses and proposing initiatives to support execution.
  • Provide employee support by answering questions and offering career development guidance (coaching, counseling, and direction), aligned with company policies.
  • Support managers and directors in people management through guidance, best practices, and feedback.
  • Support the Compliance area through investigations, report creation, interviews, and provision of relevant information.
  • Monitor and manage strategic HR indicators by analyzing monthly reports and developing action plans to achieve performance targets.
  • Manage HR processes at the site level through close collaboration with the Production Manager and regional HR teams.
  • Actively participate in the site’s strategic planning, ensuring alignment between business goals and people management practices.
  • Lead cultural transformation initiatives, supporting leaders in promoting company values, behaviors, and practices aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Monitor internal and external audits related to Human Resources practices, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Law, Economics, or Human Resources Management.
  • Strong knowledge of Labor and Social Security legislation.
  • Experience with Personnel Administration routines, Experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP/Datasul and SuccessFactors.
  • Advanced level of English.
