Position overview:

 

You act as the main point of contact for metal/RSI/scrap/slugs price maintenance and daily metal pricing updates, as well as support Global category managers in running tender processes and leads small category of spend like Printing consumables and Alloying elements.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Managing savings activities and preparing spend reports.
  • Market analyses for various categories of spend - lumber, gas oil, HDPE, cardboard, wood pulp, steel, copper and alloying elements – report distributed monthly.
  • Collecting and analysing bids from suppliers.
  • Business continuity planning and contract management.
  • Reporting LME and Premium daily/monthly - price database maintenance through various platforms.
  • Scrap/Slugs/Virgin/Recycled metal price confirmation – validating pricing with suppliers and internal finance team.
  • Manage full category of spend – Alloying elements/Printing consumables.
  • Act as Procurement point of contact for co-ordinating process improvements and reporting/dashboard development. 
  • Supporting e-Sourcing events in Coupa. 
  • Collecting sustainability KPIs from suppliers.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Experience in a similar role within a Procurement function in a multi-national company.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across functions and cultures.
  • Stakeholder and supplier management experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
