Position overview:

 

Responsible for the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS). Ensure system consistency between external requirements and company activities. Also ensure compliance and system updates based on developments. Support the Quality Manager in daily tasks and act as their replacement in their absence.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Ensure all requirements are considered when developing the integrated management system (standards, legal, customer, group, internal, etc.).
  • Monitor changes to update the system according to evolving requirements.
  • Ensure internal changes are also reflected in system updates (organization, processes, finished products, supplies, customers, new certifications, group policies, etc.).
  • Support management in defining, writing, and evolving the QHSE policy of Ball Packaging Europe Group (policy updates, challenges, objectives, priorities, action plans, etc.).
  • Support management in preparing for management reviews, lead meetings, and coordinate actions.
  • Maintain certifications and customer qualifications: prepare and schedule audits, and manage corrective action plans as needed.
  • Lead or participate in risk analyses (safety, environment, quality) and, in collaboration with department managers, implement appropriate actions, develop monitoring plans, procedures, and instructions.
  • Manage the company’s QHSE documentation: updating, availability, classification/storage, and archiving.
  • Write documents as needed (procedures, standards, manuals, instructions, etc.).
  • In collaboration with other departments, manage the site’s IMS: coordination, updates, audit planning, meetings, and training.
  • Promote QHSE culture among employees: raising awareness, knowledge of policy, challenges and priorities, action plans, etc.
  • Regularly monitor the quality level of finished products, using internal quality indicators and conducting regular quality audits.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • In-depth knowledge of quality standards and tools (ISO, audit techniques, FMEA, control plans, 8D, SPC, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of legal and industry requirements (ISO, FSCC, food industry clients).
  • Solid understanding of EHS standards and requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of metrology and statistical data analysis.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and French.
  • Good command of IT tools (Microsoft Office suite, Shopfloor Online, Minitab, etc.).
