Position overview: 

The role is responsible for management reporting and financial forecasting for the company's manufacturing operations. Financial Control Leader contributes to the development and implementation of the local strategy, establishing a strong financial partnership with managers and driving continuous cost efficiency. Position regularly interacts with managers and colleagues in the EMEA region. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Being the referent person for the plant management with regard to manufacturing and financial performance
• Sets up and monitors monthly reports and analyses as well as key operational performance indicators and advises managers to optimize results
• Supports and steers local approaches by setting up an appropriate follow-up
• Prepares calculations and analyses of potential savings and proposes areas for improvement
• Provides clear and accurate information on financial forecasts for the site
• Evaluates costs according to production and tracks objectives, suggests corrective actions and ensures that they are carried out
• Analyzes and comments on significant changes compared to the previous year, forecasts and KPIs
• Defines and manages improvements with a financial impact, evaluates and suggests investment projects
• Supports the management of the plant by creating a medium-term investment plan
• Tracks fixed assets
• Performs financial analysis of improvement projects
• Compiles and consolidates data needed to establish budgets and forecasts
• Participates in the process of setting objectives and controls projects
• Coordinates the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process
• Manages and implements new management and financial control processes as well as business-related information
  tools on a local basis
• Manages the accounting and inventories of fixed assets, spare parts, raw materials and finished products
• Supports the central services in the development and implementation of group-defined practices
• Prepares monthly and annual reports according to group and local standards
• Ensures compliance with company policy and financial procedures
• Communicates information from the plant to the central finance function
• Powers and improves the standardization of tools and processes
• Responsible for group and local procedures and the execution of SOX controls, in accordance with the group's guidelines

What are we looking for?

• Mastery of US GAAP standards and IFRS standards 
• Group accounting procedures 
• Strong Excel knoweldge
• SAP knowledge
• Communication skills at all levels of the organization
• Fluency in oral and written English
