Position overview:

 

Serve all employees by maintaining and improving production equipment, tooling, infrastructure, utilities, the spare parts store and by providing energy through teamwork and commitment to achieve high levels of EHS, quality, and TRS performance. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and help our organization achieve world-class performance as a reliable supplier, and drive our business model and objectives by maximizing efficiency and profitability.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Define and implement the site's maintenance policy with a view to rationalization: cost optimization, availability and reliability of production lines, utilities and infrastructures.
  • Manage investment projects to promote process-product innovation and the long-term viability of the site.
  • Promote safety, health, security, quality and the environment in the design and maintenance of facilities, in the direct and cross-functional management of people.
  • Build and organize maintenance and tooling shifts and day shifts to cover all the department's missions.
  • Mobilize staff by setting objectives, assessing and developing skills, and providing individual recognition.
  • Contribute, with the departments concerned, to improve technical performance and working conditions (safety, health, environment).
  • Manage performance indicators within the scope of responsibility to ensure that objectives are met: MTTR, breakdown rate, maintenance costs, spare parts value, etc.
  • Participate in drawing up maintenance and tooling budgets. Participate in drawing up investment plans. Deploy engineering projects.
  • Report on performance and CAPEX.
  • Provide technical assistance to the EHS Manager, and participate in Safety committee meetings.
  • Organize communication with the team, and pass on general information on plant and department operations and results.

 

Experience and skills required:

 

  • Higher education in maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanics or equivalent (engineers school)
  • 5 to 10 years of experience, in a similar position 
  • Strong technical knowledge and Continuous Improvement Experience
  • Experienced with Office, SAP, CAD software, Project Management System
  • Project and Budget Management
  • Fluent in French and English
