Position overview:
The Logistics Manager organizes, coordinates and manages the flow of incoming and outgoing goods, and optimizes inventory management. This role will be responsible for quality of service to customers, while complying with health and safety standards, purchasing not managed by the supervising internal scheduling in conjunction with central planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Optimizing production tool planning to meet customer and internal requirements in terms of invoicing and series size
- Optimizing counter supply to limit stock levels, transport flows and enforces group directives in terms of transport.
- Adapting resources and organization in real time to production events
- Organizing absence planning in accordance with company rules, to ensure optimum operation of the department
- Planning training for staff under his/her responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the department
- Ensuring coordination between different departments to optimize planning
- Participating in managerial analysis of major accidents and incidents and in the improvement of our service quality in collaboration with customer service
- Helping reduce our costs (transport, AMP, storage levels, etc.)
- Ensuring top-down communication from management to employees, particularly after CODIR, CES and CHSCT meetings
- Participating in complaint analysis and implementation of corrective actions
What are we looking for?
- Education: Advanced degree in logistics (4 or 5 years of advanced studies), or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of job related experience in same or similiar position
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of SAP is an advance
- Fluent English both oral and written
