Position overview:

The essential purpose of the function is maintenance and optimization of AUX systems, including: air compressors, vacuum pumps, RTO, baler, hot water boilers, dry coolers, cooling towers, ventilation systems, and air handling units. The role is planning and execution of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance and optimization of the energy system with a strong focus on gas consumption reduction.
 

Key responsibilities include:

• Taking all necessary measures to achieve all assigned business objectives within the department, in compliance with all existing departmental procedures and rules, as well as other procedures and regulations related to work quality, occupational safety, and environmental protection.
• Organizing and leading projects in the transport section of the production line and in process plants, with the aim of optimizing the production process and improving the utilization of fixed assets.
• Organizing the implementation of Best Business Practice ideas for transport and process plants from other BPE locations, and presents ideas from the Belgrade plant to other BPE locations.
• Organizing and participating in regular and emergency maintenance of transport equipment and process plants.
• Organizing required training for operators involved in the maintenance of transport systems and process plants.
• Cooperating with maintenance colleagues and external companies regarding all necessary repairs and maintenance of complete equipment and machinery in the transport section of the production line and process plants, such as compressors, vacuum pumps, cooling towers, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
• Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and proposing solutions.
• Promoting the spread of Lean culture and mindset; plans, initiates, and developing Lean projects.
• Participating in the implementation and maintenance of Lean standards.
• Proposing ideas and participating in continuous process improvement projects (Business Excellence).

What are we looking for?

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial and/or energy maintenance
• High level of drive for improvement and hands-on work in a manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of complex technical and energy systems
• Strong leadership skills and analytical mindset
• Active English speaker
