Position overview:

As the Payroll Shared Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Payroll Specialists to ensure the seamless execution of payroll processes within our Global Business Services environment. Supervisor Shared Services is integral to delivering accurate and timely payroll services to business operations, driving standardization and optimization of payroll processes across their responsible payroll processes.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

 

  • End-to-end payroll management for multiple countries, including system implementation and ensuring timely, accurate payroll runs.
  • Compliance oversight, ensuring payroll operations align with local legal, tax, SOX, GDPR and internal control requirements.
  • Team leadership: supervising, mentoring, and supporting payroll analysts/coordinators, conducting performance reviews and fostering team development.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance and Benefits to streamline onboarding, offboarding, and data flow impacting payroll.
  • Vendor management: maintaining strong relationships with third-party providers, tracking performance, and mitigating financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Issue resolution: handling and resolving discrepancies or payroll-related concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Reporting and analytics: preparing regular payroll reports (weekly to yearly), identifying trends and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Process improvement: driving continuous improvements in payroll and vendor-related processes to increase efficiency and control.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Bachelor's Degree: Typically in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of related work experience in payroll management
  • Advanced knowledge of Payroll and taxation practices and processes in the region or country the role is based
  • Strong understanding of payroll technologies and practices used in a Managed Services environment e.g. ADP Streamline
  • Strong communication skills across job levels and cultures, with expertise in consulting and solutioning.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to supervise internal/external teams and manage vendor partners.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively under pressure
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent written and oral communication.
