Position overview:
The role of the Customer Collections Senior Analyst is to execute a sub process within Bill to Cash end-to-end process. The role serves to post payments, resolve disputes, perform collection activities, and provide customer service. The position is responsible for issuing monthly statements and keeping customer files updated with current invoices, bills and customer information.
Key responsibilities include:
- Possesses a broad understanding of customer collection processes and preferably invoicing process as well.
- Posts payments (and other related postings) to customers within the ERP systems.
- Participates in audit preparation & support in its area of responsibility.
- Prepares various reports and overviews to demonstrate and track relevant KPIs.
- Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history and credit line.
- Actively participates in month end activities.
- Researches and resolves discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information.
- First point of contact for all issue resolution related to collections.
- Supports projects related to B2C .
- Supports B2C Supervisor in providing trainings, work allocation and onboarding of newcomers.
What we are looking for?
- Demonstrated experience in O2B or B2C processes with increasing levels of responsibility in a large, complex environment.
- At least 3 years of working experience on similar positions.
- Good knowledge of SAP and Excel.
- Strong skills in Customer Service, Effective Communication, Influencing, Problem Solving and Analytical / Quantitative skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Fluency in French/German/Italian/Spanish would be considered as an advantage.
