As a Legal Counsel, you will provide high-quality commercial and general legal support to the Ball Beverage Packaging business across multiple jurisdictions. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, in-house legal teams, and external counsel to support business objectives, manage risk, and strengthen compliance initiatives. You will use sound judgment and creative thinking to deliver practical legal advice in a dynamic international environment.

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements that support commercial objectives and mitigate legal risk. 

• Negotiate international procurement contracts to secure favorable outcomes and protect business interests. 

• Provide legal guidance across multiple jurisdictions while supporting strategic business initiatives and projects. 

• Ensure compliance with global and EU data protection requirements, including GDPR obligations. 

• Drive and support Ball Corporation compliance programs and promote ethical business practices. 

• Build strong partnerships with EMEA plants and functional teams to deliver proactive legal support. 

• Collaborate with internal legal colleagues and external counsel to address complex legal matters and risk issues.

• Qualified solicitor or barrister, or equivalent legal qualification with relevant paralegal experience. 

• Experience reviewing, drafting, and managing international commercial agreements. 

• Strong knowledge of commercial law and experience providing legal advice within a business environment. 

• Familiarity with operating across multiple jurisdictions and diverse cultural environments. 

• Excellent negotiation, influencing, presentation, and relationship-building skills. 

• Strong business acumen with the ability to assess legal risk and financial implications of decisions. 

• Fluency in English; additional European language skills are advantageous.
