Position overview:
As a Senior Functional Analyst, you will leverage your business process expertise to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions, functional specifications, and system configurations within the Plan-to-Stock (P2S) domain. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and global project teams to support strategic initiatives, enhancements, operational support, and system implementations while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support and deliver initiatives across the Plan-to-Stock (P2S) landscape, including SAP integrations with external and third-party systems.
- Act as the functional subject matter expert for SAP PP/PM processes, collaborating with integrated business areas such as SD, MM/WM, and FI/CO.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
- Configure SAP systems and support integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and solution validation activities.
- Create and maintain functional specifications, solution designs, test scenarios, training materials, and other project documentation.
- Support all phases of project delivery, from requirements gathering and solution design through deployment, hypercare, knowledge transfer, and end-user support.
- Ensure compliance with global solution design standards, technical architecture, governance requirements, audit controls, and change management processes.
- Provide application maintenance and support (AMS) activities, including troubleshooting, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and operational objectives.
- Contribute to process optimization and drive adoption of best practices across the P2S capability area.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in business systems analysis, SAP functional consulting, or a related role with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Proven experience creating core business analysis deliverables, including functional specifications, test cases, process documentation, and solution proposals.
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP/PM processes and their integration with modules such as SD, MM/WM, and FI/CO.
- Good understanding of end-to-end Plan-to-Stock processes, including Logistics, Production, Maintenance, Warehousing, Cost Management, and Reporting.
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting SAP integrations with third-party systems, particularly Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, documentation standards, and change management processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully within global, cross-functional, and matrix organizations.
- Familiarity with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration projects is considered an advantage.
- SAP debugging knowledge is considered a plus.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
