Position overview:
The essential purpose of the function is to support production planning activities by ensuring efficient scheduling, material availability and optimal use of resources to meet customer demand. The role is responsible for production scheduling, workflow coordination, inventory monitoring and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to support smooth manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize production capacity.
- Coordinating with production, customer fulfillment and purchasing teams to adjust schedules based on operational priorities, material availability and production constraints.
- Monitoring production progress and preparing routine reports related to workflow, inventory levels, production rates and operational performance.
- Identifying and resolving production-related issues such as material shortages, labor gaps and equipment downtime.
- Supporting process optimization initiatives to improve workflow efficiency, reduce bottlenecks and maintain operational quality standards.
- Coordinating with supply chain managers and team leaders to ensure proper allocation of labor, materials and machinery resources.
- Maintaining regular communication with management and stakeholders regarding schedule updates, operational risks and planning adjustments.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 2+ of experience in production planning, scheduling or operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support operational decision-making.
- Strong technical skills, including SAP and advanced Excel
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain processes and manufacturing operations.
- Fluency in English, French language will be considered an advantage.
