Position overview:
The essential purpose of the function is to support the Regional Logistics teams across the EMEA region through coordination, reporting, system support and process improvement activities. The role focuses on logistics reporting and analytics, system and master data maintenance, user support, training and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficient logistics operations and strong service delivery across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the coordination and daily operations of the Central Logistics Team, including guidance and operational support to team members and acting as a backup for the Logistics Manager when needed.
- Creating and maintaining standard KPI reporting, regional scorecards and ad-hoc logistics reports related to cost, service and sustainability metrics.
- Focus on automation and data analytics improvements, including the use of AI-based tools and solutions to enhance reporting efficiency, visibility and decision-making.
- Supporting local logistics teams with shipment coordination, truck sourcing, warehouse stock monitoring and stock movement activities between warehouses.
- Maintaining and managing master data within SAP and Transporeon, including routes, warehouse setup, carrier management and user administration.
- Supporting freight rate and freight cost maintenance, ensuring shipment-level cost accuracy and proper freight cost reporting.
- Monitoring communication and data flow between SAP and Transporeon systems and providing system and user support, including issue resolution, user training and coordination with external support teams when required.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and participating in logistics optimization projects across the region.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 2 years of experience within logistics, supply chain or transportation operations.
- Previous people leadership or team coordination experience is advantage
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Good knowledge of SAP, TMS systems and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel. Knowledge of Power BI is advantage.
- Experience working with logistics systems and master data management.
- Experience with reporting automation, data visualization tools or AI-supported analytics solutions would be considered an advantage.
- Interest in leveraging AI and digital tools to improve reporting, analytics and operational efficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
