Position overview: 

 

The Process Transformation Specialist role serves to help guide GBS-A2R business in improving end-to-end business processes and systems by creating detailed business analysis, outlining problems, and identifying opportunities and solutions. The role is responsible for successful delivery of solutions and the functional maintenance of the enabling application.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Support process transformation and optimization efforts across outsourced operations, identifying opportunities and supporting implementation of the improvements to increase efficiency, service quality, user experience, and cost effectiveness.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendor teams to manage operational changes, process enhancements, and implementation of new service delivery models.
  • Analyze operational SLA’s, KPI’s and customer feedback to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for process standardization and improvement.
  • Drive adoption of best practices, automation solutions, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of outsourced transactional services.
  • Participate in  production support and enhancement activities and act as a liaison with business process owners to validate requirements for changes to processes and recommend ERP related best practices
  • Manage business process mapping, process re-engineering and gap analysis. Recommend opportunities for streamlining, consolidating and optimizing processes.
  • Participate in user sessions for requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, configuration, unit testing, and UAT.
  • Act as a functional subject matter expert of the business process for business capability areas.
  • Review Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) prepared by external vendor for the development of reports, forms, configurations, interfaces, and enhancements for enabling applications. 
  • Manage and coordinate changes and unit and regression testing with integration partners.
  • Collaborate with other functional and technical teams on business needs, information, applications, and long term plans while helping to ensure integration with strategic plans.
  • Generate test scenarios and scripts, perform unit testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing to resolve and close defects.
  • Develop work instructions and job aids for end user training.
  • Assist with solution strategies for business requirements, enhancement requests and defect fixes.  Identify, develop and deliver business process and technical solutions.
  • Provide application expertise and support strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, and delivering process efficiencies.

 

What are we searching for?

 

  • Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or graduate degree level education or work-related experience; Master’s degree a plus
  • Job related experience for 5 years minimum
  • Proven experience managing relationships with outsourced service providers, including performance monitoring, governance, and issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive operational excellence and service improvements.
  • Experience supporting leading process transformation, continuous improvement, and optimization initiatives within shared services, finance operations, or similar transactional environments.
  • Experience supporting complex transitions, outsourcing engagements, or service delivery model changes, including stabilization and change management activities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, process excellence, automation, or digital transformation methodologies is preferred.
  • Proven ability to facilitate knowledge transfer and translate complex technical issues into compelling business benefits
  • Strong skills in communication across job levels and cultures, consulting, solutioning
  • Strong customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate internal/externals teams and vendor partners
  • Strong attention to detail and high quality of work output
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
  • Proficiency reviewing functional requirements specifications and bridging the gap between business and technical groups
