Position Overview:

We are seeking a Plant Finance Lead to join our Finance Operations team, where you will play a key role in supporting regional operations through effective financial leadership and partnership. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help drive financial value, ensure robust reporting, and provide technical guidance across our operations finance network. This role combines hands-on financial analysis with leadership responsibilities, supporting both central initiatives and providing backup coverage to Plant Finance Managers across the region.

 

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Acting as a trusted business partner to operations teams, supporting decision-making and driving EVA performance improvement
  • Overseeing regional-level financial reporting, consolidation, and KPI tracking in line with standardized operational excellence routines
  • Supporting the Director, Finance Operations with analysis of month-end close results, annual operating plan (AOP) cycles, and quarterly forecasts (3+9, 6+6, 9+3)
  • Analyzing spending trends and identifying opportunities for efficiency and value creation
  • Providing back-up coverage and additional support to Plant Finance Managers across the region, including: month-end close analysis and reporting, development and refresh of AOP forecasts, monthly in-cycle forecast updates (POV), capital budget management, project control, and investment proposals (AFE’s), supporting finance-led plant initiatives to improve EVA performance, building finance and business acumen within non-finance teams at plant level
  • Acting as first financial point of contact for regional or plant-based initiatives to drive performance and process standardization
  • Support non finance teams education to build strong finance and business acumen around the key principles of how the business run, how we make money and how they can impact EVA each and every day
  • Effectively communicate key summaries, presentations and financial views to management as required
  • Review assigned financial areas and provides summative and relevant analysis to stakeholders
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis or financial modelling at the direction of the Director, Finance Operations

 

What We Are Looking For?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance or plant finance roles
  • Prior manufacturing experience is an advantage
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP, JDE, etc.) and Hyperion Essbase (or equivalents) preferred
  • Strong understanding of finance and forecasting principles, manufacturing standard costing, EVA, and financial modelling
  • Excellent planning, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Able to build trust, communicate effectively, and collaborate across diverse teams
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound recommendations
  • Resilient and results-oriented, with the ability to deliver under pressure

  • Proficiency in English required; additional languages are a plus
