Position overview:
Responsible for the financial planning and analysis activities for the Belgrade business unit, supporting reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis across revenue, metal, logistics, inventory, and SG&A costs. The role partners closely with the local plant leadership team and the EMEA FP&A organization to deliver accurate financial insights, support decision-making, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and analyze monthly revenue calculations, including metal and currency settlements and volume rebates.
- Manage inventory valuation activities, including stock provisions and inventory revaluation adjustments.
- Monitor and analyze logistics costs, partnering with operational teams to explain variances and cost drivers.
- Oversee SG&A reporting and support cost control initiatives across local department
- Perform contribution margin analysis and explain price, volume, and mix impacts against forecasts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and provide meaningful commentary on business performance.
- Partner with accounting and operational finance teams during month-end close activities.
- Support quarterly forecasts and annual operating plan (AOP) processes for revenue, metal, logistics, and SG&A costs.
- Collaborate closely with the regional FP&A team to ensure alignment on reporting standards and processes
- Deliver financial insights and recommendations to local management teams.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and business support to plant and commercial stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local SOX reporting and control requirements.
What are we looking for?
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong financial planning, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Experience working with SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships across functions and work collaboratively within a team.
- Results-driven, proactive, and action-oriented mindset.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or similar professional qualification (part-qualified or completed) is an advantage.
