Position overview:
This key analytical Commercial role will help structure, analyse, maintain and present complex and dynamic data from internal sources, along with external customer and market information, in an insightful and timely manner.

You will have regular interaction with key Commercial decision makers across Ball’s EMEA Regions and its senior Commercial Managers and Directors. The role has considerable scope to make a difference at Ball by bringing improvements in business systems, processes and analytics. The output from this role underpins many key Commercial business decisions taken by Ball, including business planning and strategic market and competitor assessments.


Key responsibilities include:
•    Update detailed long-term business plan with latest data and business knowledge 
•    Work with team to actively look for and implement process improvements and share outputs with wider business
•    Help coordinate, structure, analyse and refine customer, competitor and market data collected from the regional sales teams. Integrate with Ball long plan data into comprehensive model of whole EMEA market
•    Work with Ball global teams and external third-party consultants, to take best practice from Ball’s EMEA market model process and develop an automated tool which both delivers for EMEA ongoing and which can be used well consistently across the Group
•    Review and help improve current reporting processes across the wider Insight and Marketing team, automating processes and data refreshes wherever possible
•    Enhance the look, feel, structure and presentation of all team data and reports
•    Assist the Consumer Insight and the wider Marketing team and Regional Commercial teams with appropriate Ball, customer, competitor tracking or market analyses    

Experience and skills required: 
•    Experience in a similar role within Manufacturing/FMCG/Packaging company
•    Degree in finance/commercial or related
•    Expert in structuring, manipulating, managing, integrating, analysing and presenting large volumes of data and complex, changeable data sets
•    Critical thinking skills to validate different data inputs and assumptions 
•    Confident and collaborative communicator with good influencing skills
•    Fluent in English
