Position overview:

 

You will be responsible for assisting with tasks such as forecasting, reporting and analyzing logistics costs (freight/packaging/warehousing) for the EMEA region, including price, volume and mix analysis by customer, size and freight lane. The role has oversight of the shipment process within SAP to analyze the impact on financial information relevant to freight.

 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

 

 

  • Manage the freight cost analysis leveraging SAP reporting for month end, including variance analysis.
  • Work closely with the finance & logistics team with budgeting and forecasting of logistics costs.
  • Manage cost analysis related to warehouse.
  • Packaging cost analysis – all expensed packaging for key customers.
  • Close working relationship with key stakeholders on Supply Chain end, in order to support them on financial analysis side as required.
  • Supporting line manager on Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Supply side financial analysis as required.
  • Supporting line manager on project support and transformation in the FP&A space - TMS (transport management system), FCR (Freight Cost Reporting), Essbase, BIPS & other future projects.
  • Support on business partnering with IBP (Customer Fulfilment/Logistics) function, providing timely data to support planning decisions.

 

 

What are we looking for?

 

 

  • University level degree related to Finance.
  • Previous experience related to financial analyses.
  • Strong technical skills including SAP and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organised and working to tight deadlines.
  • Strong English language skills.
