Position overview:

The main duties will be all Electrical Engineering aspects of the plant including but not limited to Implementation and Supervise of preventive maintenance plan, response for the electrical maintenance troubleshooting and monitor the spare parts management within the estimated budget.

Key responsibilities include:

•    To follow and maintain organization’s SOPs and safe working practices. 

•    Comply with all legal requirements related to environment and safety.

•    Ensuring the maximum efficiency from all equipment and services by means of preventative, predictive maintenance.

•    To maintain the equipment in such a condition that quality standards are maintained.

•    Raising-up team skills by internal technical training.

•    Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults.

•    Identify plant Electrical Reliability Issues and Apply problem solving process for resolving them.

•    Build and upgrade maintenance procedures and auditing to ensure improvements are sustained.

•    Achieve and analyze maintenance key performance indicators and issue periodic follow-up reports.

•    Update the electrical drawing for all machine at any modification

•    Maintain Inventory of all Electrical spare parts used in plant Review and modify the spare parts stock levels to ensure spare parts availability.

•    Technically inspect/accept new spare parts and receive on SAP.

•    Initiate and implement cost saving programs and improvement methods in the operations.

•    Achieve & follow-up daily electricity, water and gas consumptions.

•    Control maintenance expenses on a weekly basis.

•    On call 24hrs Support electricians in any Technical problems and report to work if required. 

What are we looking for?

•    BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering 

•    3+ years relevant experience with sound knowledge of Maintenance/ Engineering

•    PLC communication and programming skills including HMIs for both Siemens and Allen Bradley 

•    Can read and write wiring / Ladder Diagrams

•    Hands on knowledge of AutoCAD, can modify electrical Schematics

•    Good understanding of modern lean manufacture technique - SMED, Kaizen 5S,  Structured Problem Solving, TPM, Six Sigma etc.

•    Fluent in English and Arabic
