Talent Advisor III – Recruiter

 

Join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team specializing in advising the business and providing support with finding and attracting top-quality hires for Ball Aerospace. This position is responsible for hiring a variety of technical and professional disciplines.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Conduct research to become an expert in market and hiring trends.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to help develop their department’s hiring strategy.
  • Execute full life-cycle recruitment responsibilities to include sourcing candidates, interviewing, and creating offers.
  • Build their employment brand through networking, sourcing, and social media.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing strategies and outreach tools to pipeline a diverse pool of candidates at a broad level, and for specific strategic positions identified.
  • Ability to cultivate a pipeline of best-in-class talent through innovative outreach methods; proactively recruit passive talent to join the Ball Aerospace team
  • Deliver against set metrics to provide consistent results and data-backed progress.
  • Collaborate directly with Hiring Managers on best practices to provide a world-class hiring experience.
  • Represent Ball at local and national career fairs including college, military, diversity and clearance events.
  • Effectively interface with Ball Aerospace management and employees; communicate and interpret established policies, procedures, practices, programs, and laws.
  • Effectively utilize established hiring processes and ensure appropriate audit trail.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

 

What You’ll Need:

 

   Basic Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in a related field plus 6 or more years of related experience.
  • Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of related experience. Two years of related experience may be substituted for each year of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • Experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
  • Willingness to travel locally and nationally is required. 
  • Learn and follow all applicable laws, regulations and procedures.

 

   Preferred Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • A sense of urgency to fill positions with the qualified candidates.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and quality decision making.
  • Detailed-oriented with the ability to document and follow established hiring processes.
  • Prior recruiting experience within a technical organization or DoD preferred.
  • Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system, preferably SuccessFactors.
  • Prior experience recruiting for DoD clearances.
  • Prior experience recruiting for software/computer engineers and from within the Intelligence community.

 

Flexible On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three or more days per work week. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

  • Work is performed in an office environment.

 

Relocation for this position is not available.

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,500 - $109,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
