The Systems Engineering Solutions Strategic Business Unit provides advanced systems engineering and technology applications for intelligence and information enterprises. These applications and solutions deliver enterprise data management, data analytics, modeling and simulation, and technology assessment capabilities that are used to create products that offer actionable information in support of warfighters and decision makers.


Contingent upon contract award to Ball Aerospace and subsequent task orders.


Facilities Specialist III


Provide LO ISR Enterprise Support to various units located at Creech AFB, NV. 


What You’ll Do:


  • Provide daily support to facilities projects and plans supporting mission systems and operation objectives.
  • Advise the government facility manager on the generation, prioritization and tracking of work orders, of tasks to third-party contractors and validating work completion.
  • Gather cost-basis data and route resource allocation approvals to government resource advisors.
  • Draft and recommend changes to building’s emergency exit maps, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Coordinate with external base agencies for repair of electrical, plumbing, datacenter, UPS and HVAC systems.
  • Train and assist personnel in the adherence of established opening and closing procedures of maintenance equipment locations for external base agencies.
  • Develop and maintain facility emergency management plans for government facility manager.
  • Responsible for sustainability, energy metering, reducing maintenance costs, retrofits and renovations.
  • Track and organize warranty and service level agreements from third-party contracts.
  • Assist the government facility manager with evaluating Access Control Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems and make suggestions for improvements as necessary.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company.  Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.


What You’ll Need:


  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 8 years or more related experience or a related 2-year technical degree and 6 years or more related experience.
  • Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor’s or Master’s, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in SAP physical security incident administration and oversight.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in application of the JAFAN 6/0 and 6/9, ICD 705 and ICS 705.

Compensation & Benefits:


  • HIRING SALARY RANGE: $29.34 - $34.55 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
