The Systems Engineering Solutions Strategic Business Unit provides advanced systems engineering and technology applications for intelligence and information enterprises. These applications and solutions deliver enterprise data management, data analytics, modeling and simulation, and technology assessment capabilities that are used to create products that offer actionable information in support of warfighters and decision makers.

 

Network Administrator Senior

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Design, enhance and administer the client’s network infrastructure.
  • Utilize thorough knowledge of the following platforms to ensure stable operations throughout the enterprise:
    • LAN, CAN, WAN, MAN solutions
    • Network monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization and reporting
    • Wireless, video conferencing and IP-based voice solutions
    • Network protocols
    • Load balancing and WAN acceleration solutions
  • Establish and adhere to standard processes and documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure stable system configuration and maintenance support.
  • Execute advanced troubleshooting skills to address network performance issues.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company.  Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Perform other duties as necessary

 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • Related Bachelor’s and 8 or more years of related experience; or HS Diploma and 14 or more years of related experience.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Associate’s, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for additional years of experience.
  • Related certifications may count towards years of related experience.
  • Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • Current Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification or higher.
  • Current CompTIA SEC+ or CCNA-Security certification or higher.
  • Experience with Cisco routers and switches.
  • Experience with VLANs, VPNs and routing protocols.
  • Experience with using Wireshark for raw packet analysis is desired.
  • Cisco Unified Collaboration Infrastructure and Technologies including CUCM, Cisco IP Phones, Unity Connection, Jabber, Video Conferencing is desired.
  • Experience with voice signaling and call control protocols is desired.
  • Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls a bonus.
  • Python/shell scripting experience is desired.

Compensation & Benefits:

 

  • HIRING SALARY RANGE: $124,500 - $172,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
