The Security and Mission Assurance Strategic Capabilities Unit provides discriminating support to the business to ensure success. We focus on threat identification, risk assessment, and mitigation while improving the efficiency of the business through effective governance and analysis of process, data and overall business knowledge.


Industrial Security Professional II


What You’ll Do:


  • Determine, apply, monitor, and ensure appropriate security requirements are executed for SCI program in accordance with applicable ICDs.
  • Liaise with customer security staff to ensure program security policies and procedures follow company and customer requirements.
  • Interpret customer policies and advise program management and participants regarding security policy and classification guidance.
  • Develop/prepare and/or modify, as necessary, SOPs, CONOPs, OPSEC Plans, subcontractor DD254s, classified work instructions, and security education initiatives. 
  • Manage prime/subcontract relationships IAW contractual obligations.
  • Investigate, document and report security incidents in accordance with regulations and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with CSA representatives to obtain approvals, accreditations and authorizations, to obtain classification rulings and to make necessary reports.
  • Coordinate and submit requests for access.
  • Ensure compliance with document handling and classification marking in accordance with applicable program guides. 
  • Apply experience in supporting security concepts, principles and practices to analyze and resolve security issues.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication skills with customers, security staff, program leads and other business units.
  • Coordinate closely with company management by providing regular status updates regarding program security requirements, issues, etc.
  • Assist other security staff with special projects as required.
  • Share knowledge and lessons learned with other security staff.
  • May participate on proposal teams, interpret proposal security requirements, and author proposal security volumes.
  • May assist with escorting, which may require after hours support.
  • May alarm and emergency response after hours.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company.  Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.


What You’ll Need:


  • BS/BA in a related field plus 4 or more years related experience.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience.  Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.  Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • A current, active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
  • Progressively responsible experience in program security, industrial security, CPSO, experience working in classified environments as a security professional or POC for security matters.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivation with ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects; ability to work with people in a team environment.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office applications.


Full-Time On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site full-time. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:


  • HIRING SALARY RANGE: $84,500 - $114,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
