Aerospace Security Manager – Information Assurance

 

To provide Information System Security Management in support of Ball Aerospace programs requiring TS/SCI Information Systems (IS). Guide Information Assurance efforts to meet contractual requirements in compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Assist senior leadership in developing strategic direction for Aerospace Security and lead employees and the company into innovative and new directions to accomplish the organization’s goals.
  • Ensure all business is conducted using the highest ethical standards and is in compliance with all applicable laws, statues, and regulations as well as company policies and directives.
  • Interface with both internal and external Customers to ensure security requirements are understood and properly implemented.
  • Select, motivate, and counsel employees; administer salary and budget programs; ensure employee safety; plan, organize, integrate, and measure work performed within the department.
  • Lead the development and execution of cybersecurity awareness training and education programs for program-accessed individuals, business unit management, and security professionals.
  • Schedule, conduct, and administer security tests and evaluations programs to ensure that all the applicable IS are operating in accordance with security requirements.
  • Provide security administration and management in accordance with USG contractual security requirements.
  • Perform self-inspections as required by government regulations and participate in customer audits and inspections.
  • Ensure customer compliance requirements are met, maintain 100% readiness for inspections, and assist customers with inspections; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Responsible for the implementation of Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) for assigned systems, working off the Plan of Action and Milestones (PO&AM) list and keeping the asset current through STEP 6 of RMF.
  • Analyze, interpret, and verify IS disaster recovery/contingency plans to assure the rapid recovery of IS in the event of an emergency or disaster.
  • Direct the preparation and maintenance of required documentation in accordance with company procedures and government regulations.
  • Coordinate with other service support organizations to ensure program operations support fulfills growth requirements.
  • Provide input to proposal efforts to ensure expected security requirements are adequately reflected in new programmatic efforts.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company.  Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • BS/BA in related field plus 10 years or more related experience.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • A current, active TS/SCI CI Polygraph security clearance is required.
  • CISSP, or DoDD 8140 (DoDD 8570) IAM level III certification.
  • Complete understanding of RMF and how to execute to policy.  Know ICD-503.

 

Full-Time On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site full-time. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:

 

  • HIRING SALARY RANGE: $121,500 - $167,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
